How to Get Started On Coloring Easter Eggs
Before you can even get started coloring Easter eggs, you are of course going to need to get all your supplies together. You don’t want to start coloring your Easter eggs only to find that you have forgotten something that you need, and you especially don’t want to leave your kids in the kitchen with the eggs and all that paint just to make a mess while you have to run and get what you need.
So to get coloring Easter eggs, you first want to choose what style of egg you want to make. Most people just think there is painting the eggs and that is it but there are actually lots of different ideas that you could choose to go with. There are the decoupaged eggs for one, and to do this you just tear some small pieces of wrapping paper or tissue and put them in a container for now.
Then you want to mix equal amounts of glue and water into another container, and then you paint the eggs with this glue mixture, and quickly before the glue dries, you want to take some of the paper shreds and put those all over the eggs. Then you cover over this with a layer of glue, let dry, and then cover with another layer of glue.
Then you can color over top with your favorite colors of paint and these eggs look really unique and funky.
Another tip for coloring Easter eggs is to wax them before you color them, another way of giving them a new funky look. To do you just melt some wax, and make sure that this is out of the reach of the children if they are helping you because it will be very hot. Then you want to dip each of the eggs in a bit, let dry, and then paint over.
